JAIVEN SPENCE · PERSONAL EXPLORATIONS

Useful things.
Unexpected
directions.

I’m Jaiven. I like making tools I actually want to use — and seeing where a good idea goes.

Not a company. Not a list of buzzwords.
A few things I’m proud of, connected.

01 / THE DAY JOB

IT by day.
AI by night.

JACOBIAN ENGINEERING

I work in IT at Jacobian Engineering: the practical kind, where devices, accounts and networks have to just work for real people.

The AI part is what I do with the time that saves. Small experiments that turn into tools, built alongside Erik Jones and a few very opinionated agents.

01

Fix the real friction first.

02

Make something you can use today.

03

Keep asking what could be better.

A personal perspective, not a company site. No client systems are connected here.

02 / THE BIG IDEA

Good ideas
need a bridge.

AGENT BRIDGE

A shared space where coding agents coordinate. Less working past each other. More moving an idea forward together.

Claude, Codex, Gemini and Grok on one board, passing work along with the rules written down. It’s the project I’m most proud of. This scene is an illustration, not a live connection.

Try a tiny, illustrative handoff.

03 / A MOMENT WORTH KEEPING

Good company.
Second place.

SAFE SCRIBE

Overall second place at The AI Conference Hack Day, built with Erik Jones and our agent teams.

A clinical-handoff prototype where agents review each other’s work before approval. A hack-day experiment with synthetic patients, not a production medical system.

04 / LITTLE THINGS THAT HELP

Less friction.
More delight.

Four small things I use or am building. Flip a card.

A playful daily planner. Get real things done, and a strange little companion grows along with you.

An idea for making progress feel a little less like a spreadsheet.

Oddling selected. Try a tiny task.

Working state: terminal dark. No input needed.

Interactive sketches of the ideas, not the full products. All example content is made up. Terminal Tint is by Erik Jones ↗.

05 / PLAYFUL EXPERIMENTS

Serious tools.
Silly voices.

Not everything needs a business case.

A desktop assistant that talks like GLaDOS, with a real language model behind the sarcasm. Built for my own amusement, and it has opinions about my schedule.

Aperture Shorts: an animated fan series with a pilot episode in the works. Same universe, same attitude.

Fan experiments. Not affiliated with Valve.

06 / IN PROGRESS

Something for
the people who care.

A quieter project, for people who look after others. More soon.

07 / BEYOND THE SCREEN

Different routes.
Same curiosity.

There’s more to me than the things I build. Bike rides, new places, and a reason to look up from the terminal.

The best personal site should leave room for life, too.

Illustrative route, not the event map.

08 / SAY HI

Have an idea?
Let’s talk.

Tools, collaborations, a ride route worth trying. I read everything.

An evolving personal collection. Tools, ideas, and a little life beyond the screen.
